What Are Words & What Is Language?

The tools of language can be considered as words, symbols and/or gestures. A [Word] is defined as a single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing, used with others (or sometimes alone) to form a sentence and typically shown with a space on either side when written or printed. A [Symbol] is defined as a thing that represents or stands for something else, especially a material object representing something abstract and a [Gesture] is defined as a movement of part of the body, especially a hand or the head, to express an idea or meaning.

By definition, language is the method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. Language is the most important aspect in the life of all beings. We use language to express inner thoughts and emotions, make sense of complex and abstract thought, to learn to communicate with others, to fulfill our wants and needs, as well as to establish rules and maintain culture.  Accordingly, we must never forget that language can also be considered as the use of symbols and/or gestures that can also be used to express complex and abstract thoughts, ideas and/or concepts.

Based on the aforementioned definitions, as representatives, spokesmen or women and/or agents for Unity International Company, Inc.™, (hereafter also called Unity/UICI) you must use words, symbols and/or gestures so that you can clearly express the ideas and/or concepts that separate Unity from all "so called economic empowerment movements" that have failed to empower the Black community for years and will continue to fail unless the Black community; as a group, comes to realize empowerment is not a single individual or a few individuals earning more money, or having prestige or position, it is an entire community of hundreds, thousands, and even millions of people, having absolute control, power and authority, prestige and position over the capital assets they own and control collectively. THIS IS REAL... TAKE IT TO THE BANK.... ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THAT IS NOT A PIPE DREAM OR FANTASY!!

When millions of people; including visitors and reps to this website, collectively, have ownership and control, now you are discussing real economic empowerment and not another African American pipe dream. Therefore, based on this reality, the facts and the undeniable historical evidence, New Age Capitalism, its mandated New Age Corporations, and its by-product, New Age Thinking are the first ever legal structure and the only genuine methodology that has the innate ability and capability to empower the Black community for real, and for the first time in our history at home and/or abroad. Albert Einstein defined Insanity as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Based on this definition, an intelligent person can easily conclude that Black people and their leaders have been engaged in insane activity for over 150 years.

Black people in America and all over this planet must come to realize and accept the undeniable fact, that it is virtually impossible to change our collective position (at the bottom of the world's economic spectrum) and our collective condition (virtually poverty stricken, except for a handful of successful Blacks, some celebrities and token Blacks in politics, government, corporate America and the mass media) with the same thinking, methods and procedures that got us into this mess. When anyone of reasonable intelligence considers these actualities, any thinking process, activity and/or any other modus operandi that does not improve the Black community's condition and/or position; be it economic, social and/or political, is useless, worthless and a waste of time, energy and money. Hence, New Age Thinking is not selective, elective,or a choice, it is a mandatory requirement for economic, social and/or political change.

Understanding The Meaning Of The Words

            What do the words power, control, wealth, influence, profits, benefits and value really mean by definition?  From a literal meaning, anyone with reasonable intelligence can determine how these words can be applied to real life situations, attitudes and concepts. When an individual says Black economic empowerment, he/she does not realize he/she is referring to a collective and not an individual.  This is primarily the reason why you rarely; if ever, hear Jews, Chinese, Japanese, English, European or any other ethnic group discussing a need for economic empowerment. The reason: They already have the official means and legal authority to empower themselves in America. Black America's so call economic empowerment movements were not sanctioned by any statutory law or by any official means. This is why all African American so called economic empowerment movements and efforts have failed. There was never any legal authority for them and none were authorized by official means.. Once Black people; individually and as a group understand this reality, they can effectively end 150 years of empowerment failures.

What is the definition of empowerment? Black people need to clearly understand; individually and collectively, whenever an individual and/or groups of individuals are economically empowered, they have the legal authority to engage in any lawful income producing activity. Hence, [Empowerment] is defined as giving power or authority to; to authorize, especially by legal or official means. As you can plainly see or surmise, no Black economic empowerment movement ever had or was ever authorized by any state law. By definition, New Age Corporations are empowered because a corporation, New Age or otherwise, is a legal entity that is authorized by state law and are empowered by official means. Therefore, any corporation has the legal authority to engage in any lawful business development activity for any number of individuals, including an entire community. In our case, the Black community.

What is the definition of power? [Power] has a number of definitions. However, the definition we are concerned with in this discussion is the ability to cause or prevent an action, make things happen or the discretion to act or not act. Just to be clear about this, in physics, [Power] is the amount of energy produced in a given amount of time. [Power] can also be defined as the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events. The bottom line is simply this:  [Power] is the ability or capacity to act or do something effectively. A New Age Corporation’s or any other corporation’s ability to act or exercise its [power] is authorized by law.  

What is the definition of control? Like [Power], [Control] has a number of applicable definitions. However, the definition that applies to this discussion is to exercise authoritative or dominating influence over or to direct activity. In a New Age Corporation and in many other corporations control is vested in the shareholders and/or the Board of Directors. These controlling aspects of corporate reality are also governed and authorized by state statues and in some cases by federal law. Therefore, the economic empowerment of the Black community is governed by law and not by our feelings, emotions, religious beliefs, attitudes, concepts or precepts. This is why UICI and New Age Corporations like UICI are the real economic salvation for the Black community. A corporation is not a pipe dream or a movement and neither is Unity.

What is the definition of wealth? [Wealth] is defined as a great quantity or store of money, valuable possessions, property, or other riches. By definition, any Black person with any degree of reasonable intelligence already knows; Black people in America do have or own a great quantity or store of money, valuable possessions, property, or other riches. Therefore, Black people in America cannot exercise economic power or control in their communities or outside the community because Black people; as a collective, do not own meaningful assets or control any natural resources; whereas, other ethnic groups do; if not in America, in their home countries. New Age Corporations, like UICI are legal entities, sanctioned by laws that will allow Black people, individually and collectively, to pool available resources to own corporations and acquire income producing assets on a meaningful scale. No other legal structure or concept exists that can and will accomplish these objectives for ourselves and our children.

What is the definition of influence? [Influence] is defined as the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself. Whatever little political influence Black people had in America was lost the minute the Hispanic population surpassed us and started contributing to America’s GDP. Unknown to many Black Americans, “the buying power of Latinos has increased seven times since 1990 – from $212 billion to over $1.4 trillion in 2014– and the Hispanic population grew an estimated 44 percent between 2000 and 2014, rising from 35.3 million to over 55 million. As Hispanic influence rises or increases; Black influence; what little there is, declines or decreases. In 2014, we only spent 507 billion, less than 1/2 of that.

The growth of Hispanic businesses continues to be unnoticed by many main-stream corporations and the main-stream media; as well as, the general public, even to members of the Latino community. Large Hispanic companies are achieving considerable revenues and becoming important contenders in their industries, while Black people own nothing, are not contending for market share anywhere that is meaningful and are not spending any significant amounts of money to own and operate corporations. As a direct result of these emerging realities, Black people are no longer needed in White America or Hispanic America and will continue to have less and less political influence. We have no capital influence. Our contribution to America’s GDP with our outrageous spending habits will diminish as well. Over 97% of our income comes from White America. White America no longer has a need to give us anymore jobs, positions, careers, political visability or money. This is why it is imperative that we fund our corporations with what little money we have now. There is no second chance at this.

What is the definition of profit? Believe it or not when many Black people hear the word profit, they immediately think of its homophone, prophet. Even though the historical evidence and Black reality are against this belief, millions of Black people sincerely believe a “White Jesus” is going to save them or rapture them out of their ghettoes, second class and/or no class citizenship and/or economic woes or save them from being irrelevant in 21^st Century America. Of course, none of this is going to happen. This unreality explains the proliferation of churches in the Black community and in no other Christian community on the planet. Jesus never said he would empower Black people economically, politically or socially in the here and now.

The [Profit] we are discussing is defined as a financial gain, especially the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing something. Since Black people are basically conditioned to be religious and consumers of goods and services and not producers of goods and services this mistaken allusion to a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God is somewhat understandable. However, as corporate owners, when profits are declared payable by a Board of Directors, they are distributed to the shareholders of the corporation as dividends. Whatever dividends that are payable, regardless of how small they might be, are much better than the no dividends the Black community is receiving right now, from nowhere and from nothing.

What is the definition of benefits? A [Benefit] is something that promotes or enhances well-being; such as, an advantage, right or privilege. Not only is owning corporate enterprises beneficial to the Black community, corporate ownership; especially, when a community owns all the businesses in a given area, means the shareholders can experience low cost living that actually contributes to having more discretionary income for even more asset acquisitions. This means for the first time in Black history, our children will have an economic power base to operate from. For over 150 years, our forefathers left us no economic power base to operate from that could diminish or neutralize White Supremacy.  New Age Thinking will change this construct forever.

Finally, what is the definition of value? As a noun, [Value] is defined as the regard that something is held to deserve; such as its importance, worth, or usefulness. This last word; [Value], once it has been defined does not have to be explained to anyone with reasonable intelligence. As long as assets are producing more income than they cost after expenses and taxes, they are contributing to the economic stability and financial value of an entire community. UICI’s language and message are not like any conversation or discussion any Black person will hear anywhere on this planet.  The reason: UICI is a legal entity that is authorized by state law and empowered by official means. This means the Black community can empower itself legally and by official means. No other economic development or empowerment movement, concept or strategy, past or present, can make this claim and prove it. This is why UICI will succeed where all others have failed.
